The Cavemen is a Lagos based ‘Afrocentric influenced’ band comprising of Kingsley Okorie and his brother Benjamin James. The band came up with a genre called Highlife Fusion. The Cavemen combines highlife, afrobeat, jazz and soul music. They are modern torch-bearers for Highlife music, a sound with deep roots in the history of African music. They currently have two albums - ‘ROOTS, Love and Highlife' which is an offshoot of their background and experiences yet.
