Born and bred in Lagos Nigeria, Oyinmiebi Asu professionally known as Yin is an artist, songwriter, Disk Jockey (DJ) & Virtual Disc Jockey (VDJ). Having started her career in the music industry as a DJ in 2013, she attained an incredible fit with her 2016/17 nomination of City People Award DJ and even nominations as THE BEATZAWARD FEMALE DJ OF THE YEAR in 2021.

In 2019, she launched her career as an artist with an EP titled “Life of Fatimah”, a five (5) track EP which she described as a product of the feminine journey and has since then worked alongside artists like Bella Alubo, Lady Donli, Odunsi, Santi, BankyOnDBeatz and a host of others.

Yin recently attempted the GUINNESS WORLD RECORD for the LONGEST PLAYING DJ MARATHON for 11days from 20th September to October 1st and was announced the FIRST FEMALE DJ to ever hold this title. She also released her single 'Domitila' on the last day of the attempt.
